Because it’s hilarious fun that everyone wants to try! Human Table Football is a huge amount of fun, perfect for outdoor summer events, or indoor events if there’s enough room and access (such as a school sports hall). This game gets the adrenaline pumping and allows players to show off their skills, coordination, and ability to be part of a team.
While traditional table football only allows two players to control everyone on the field, human table football requires all 5-6 team members to work together to win the game.
How Many People Can Play Human Table Football?
Up to 12 people can play inflatable table football at once, and it’s suitable for almost all ages (7+ recommended). That means it’s perfect for super-competitive teens and team building events, and fun for all the family at family fun days and family reunions.
There are many different ways to play human table football, a few ideas are:
- Kids vs adults! If you’re at a family event, why not pitch the parents against the kids? (It’s up to you whether you let the kids win or not!)
- Tournament Style – why not host a knockout tournament at your team building event? Grab a whiteboard for a leaderboard, form teams (make team t-shirts), and hit the field to compete.
- Just for Fun – thinking of hiring human table football for a community event or family fun day? This game is easily played by simply filling the spaces with whomever comes along and having a go at being a part of the team.
The game is easy to play – simply stand at your designated position and hold onto the bar in front of you (this is like the metal rod that goes through the players on the table. Once you’ve taken hold of the bar, your hands shouldn’t move – the bar can move side to side and you can bend a little to reach the ball, but no letting go!
The football is thrown into the ring and the game starts. Anyone near the ball can kick it with the aim of getting past the opposite team’s players and into the goal. As in normal football, the most goals win.
